Mantra Community 2026–2027
Imagine a space where, once a month, you pause.
Where you do not have to solve anything or achieve anything.
Where you simply sit, breathe, and allow yourself to be guided by the sound of sacred Sanskrit.
This is MANTRA COMMUNITY.

- Are you a yoga teacher who wants to learn how to pronounce mantras correctly and experience the full effect of recitation in Sanskrit as a vibrational language?
- Are you new to mantras, perhaps you have never recited them before, but you sense there is something deeply beneficial in their effect on the psyche — and you want to experience it for yourself and integrate mantra practice into your life?
- Are you feeling chronically overwhelmed or under the influence of long-term stress?
- Is your sleep poor, and do you find it difficult to concentrate for longer periods of time?
- Do you often argue with your partner, struggle to communicate, or find yourself shouting at your children?
- Does your memory fail you under the pressure of endless responsibilities?
- Have you tried meditation to reduce stress, only to fall asleep during it or feel bored by it?
Then this course is exactly for you.
And please know this: you are not alone in these feelings. As women, we all experience something similar.
Perhaps you do not yet see the connection between a family argument and mantra recitation. So let me explain how mantra works — and then you will understand. Not as something mystical or vague, but in a clear and precise way.

The Sanskrit word mantra मन्त्र
The Sanskrit word mantra was created from two words: manas, meaning mind, and trai, meaning to purify or liberate.
Literally, mantra means “a tool of the mind” — a way to quiet and cleanse your thoughts.
What is the mind, really?
According to yogic scriptures, the mind consists of several layers:
- the pranic body, prāṇamaya kośa — our vital life energy,
- the emotional body, manomaya kośa,
- the body of wisdom or intellect, vijñānamaya kośa.
What is important to understand is that the mind is not one-dimensional. It consists of many parts. Just as prāṇa, our vital energy, creates a bridge between the body and the mind, mantra also works on all levels.
Through sound vibrations, mantra can influence not only our psyche, but also the physical body and help release blockages in the energetic channels. Your mind begins to calm down, align, and clear. Solutions to long-standing problems may begin to appear. Your priorities become clearer, and you may remember things you had forgotten in the rush of daily responsibilities.
This is why Sanskrit is not used merely for ordinary communication. Above all, it is a vibrational language that works with the subtle layers of our being — especially life energy and the mind.
Does it sound unbelievable? So many benefits simply through mantra recitation?
It will remain unbelievable only until you try it.
Mantras, just like yoga and Ayurveda, are experiential disciplines. Even if I gave you dozens of books to read, I would never be able to transmit the experience itself to you.
It is like trying to describe the taste of honey. Until you taste it, you cannot truly understand how sweet it is.
Mantra and Sanskrit
Mantras have been passed down in Sanskrit since ancient times. It is said that this language was not “created” by humans, but revealed to sages, the ṛṣis, in deep states of meditation.
Those who use mantras regularly in their yoga and spiritual practice will surely confirm their effect.
Today, we also have scientific evidence: the neurolinguistic effects of mantras have been studied and measured through experiments. Still, yoga, like other ancient sciences, is primarily rooted in experience — personal practice is the greatest confirmation.
Mantras in life and death
According to Indian tradition, mantras are recited to those who are dying, because it is believed that the final thought or sound a person perceives can influence their next birth.
And that makes a lot of sense to me. Like the last time I was on a plane and there was strong turbulence – a mantra immediately arose within me, just in case.
Personally, I love connecting science and philosophy, but I admit that when it comes to mantras, I never needed scientific proof. I have experienced their power in my own life many times.
My personal experience with mantra
-
Mantra runs through my veins. What others learn over weeks and months, I only need to hear once. That must be karma.
-
I began an intensive mantra practice during my pregnancy, when I recited Lalitā Sahasranāma every day — the thousand names of the Divine Mother. I was surprised by how deeply this forty-minute recitation affected me. I went into birth completely calm, without fear, and without the need to read piles of information. At that time, my mantra was enough.
- Later, I recited mantras while putting Gayatri and my friends’ babies to sleep, or in moments when my daughter was restless. They worked almost instantly. They calm not only the child, but the mother too.
-
The second truly defining moment in my life came when Gayatri was four years old. While travelling in Bhutan, she ended up in intensive care with acute pneumonia, and the doctors gave her only a fifty-percent chance of survival. When she stopped responding to my voice, I sat by her bed and began reciting mantras. I felt that if I could connect with her subconscious through the mantra she had known since the womb, she would return to a conscious state. I do not know how long that night lasted, but I knew one thing: mantra gave me faith and strength. The next day, she sat up in bed and asked for food. In that moment, I knew the worst was behind us.

Now, after this explanation, imagine how you could feel
if you began reciting mantras regularly.
- Your sleep may improve, and with it your body’s ability to regenerate. You may feel rested and full of energy.
- Mantra recitation — and even simply listening to mantras — creates positive vibrations in your body and life energy, and helps focus your mind.
- In other words, it reduces the number of thoughts, which can significantly contribute to lowering stress.
- Through the overall calming effect described above, your communication in close relationships may improve. A greater sense of ease may begin to settle at home, along with more capacity in your nervous system to handle disagreements and conflicts.
- As a yoga teacher, you will literally shine in your classes — not from a place of ego, but from the wisdom and discipline that mantra recitation naturally brings, without pressure.
- And if you have already joined my recitation gatherings or completed the course on reciting the abundance hymn Śrī Sūktam, then this long-term community is also for you — a place where you can stay in regular contact with mantra and with my personal guidance.

In these gatherings, I offer personal guidance, my support for our mantra pack, and my Indian joie de vivre, which mantra recitation only amplifies.
Who will guide you?

Marie Meera Karanath
I have been working with mantra recitation since my pregnancy in 2013, when I used mantra to prepare for giving birth in India.
In 2025, I completed a year-long training in Vedic mantra recitation with my Indian teacher Shantala Sriramaiah from Veda Studies, with whom I continue to study.
My Indian husband — who is definitely not someone who gives praise easily — tells me, completely on his own, that my pronunciation and recitation are indistinguishable from that of an Indian person.
I consider that a truly great compliment.
Testimonials for the mantra recitation course
An online course can be more personal than one might imagine. I speak from my own experience.
With Meera, you feel completely at ease. Repeating the mantras out loud, in the tone that naturally comes through you, together with the other participants, can be deeply liberating.
The benefit of repetition is resonance – and it keeps drawing you back to the recordings you receive after each lesson.
Another great advantage is that Meera truly lives the Vedic teachings and culture. This allows her to guide you in your own language, especially when it comes to meaning, pronunciation, and intonation.
And last but not least, you absorb the energy of the mantra — and then you understand. I warmly recommend it.
I knew mantras before, but this was recitation in Sanskrit — the most ancient language of the Vedas.
What could it give me? What did people thousands of years ago consider abundance to be? What kind of language is this? When you first look at the text, you feel like you cannot read or speak at all. Every syllable is different, the pronunciation is intense. Repeating it over and over again. Maruška tirelessly repeated everything for everyone, again and again.
And then I suddenly realized that through the energy of this mantra, the field of abundance had opened within me too. At home, with my family, in my heart. That is the abundance I had been looking for.
Yes, money is important too — I like money. But this is a different kind of wealth. Inner wealth.
